Revival of the retina. — Weekly Glance

Scientists at Scripps Research and the University of Utah published work showing that the retina can be revived up to 5 hours after a person has died.

This study, published in Nature, suggests that nerve cells from the central nervous system may be easier to revive after death than scientists had widely believed. (via)
