Are there any contact lenses with blue light protection?

Yes!

J&J just announced the launch of Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day.

What is different about this Oasys lens?

Like the Acuvue Oasys 1-Day lens with HydraLuxe Technology, Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day is a 38% water content silicone hydrogel (senofilcon A) lens with polyvinylpyrrolidone as a wetting agent. Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day is unique in that it optimizes its wetting agent distribution throughout the matrix and surface of the lens, which prolongs tear film stability and delivers a lower evaporation rate. It also provides 60% blue light filtering plus class 1 UV blocking.

What lens parameters is it available in?

At the launch it will be available in both spherical and multifocal options.

When can I try it?

J&J anticipates it will become available in the fall.
